The Mississippi Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration is initiating an Environmental Assessment re-evaluation of the proposed Port Road Connector located in Warren County. The Port Road Connector’s termini would begin at the Port of Vicksburg at Hainning Road and terminate at Highway 61. This project is designed to provide a connection between the Port Vicksburg and Highway 61, thus enhancing the climate for economic development through intermodal connectivity.
