
The STIP is MDOT’s six-year listing of planned transportation improvements for our state. It is updated
by MDOT and submitted for approval to the Federal Highway Administration, and it can be amended as
needed in the event of unforeseen developments. To learn more about the STIP, click the link below

Public participation in the development of the STIP is very important and welcome at anytime. Please provide
your suggestions for improving Mississippi’s transportation system by filling out a comment form (see link below)
and returning it to the MDOT Planning Division at stip@mdot.state.ms.us,
or by calling (601) 359-7685. Also, if you have suggestions for improving our public comment process, we’d like to
hear them. Click on the "STIP Survey" link below to let us know how we can improve our communication process.
