|
The Office of Administrative Services' mission is the effective oversight of budget development and administrative support
within the MDOT Central Offices. This oversight provides a financial framework and a computerized support system from which
all other functions of MDOT may operate. In addition, the Office of Administrative Services is responsible for the training
and empowerment of MDOT's most valuable asset, its work force. Coupled with these functions, Administrative Services also
provides support to the Jackson offices in the form of building maintenance office supplies.
Seven divisions fall under the supervision of the Office of Administrative Services including Financial Management, Budget, Procurement,
Asset Managment, Professional Development, Facility & Records Management and General Services. A brief description of each division’s
purpose and goals are listed on the division pages reached by using the areas of service list above.
